Salary: $90,000-$120,000 with bonus potential

We are a San Francisco-based lighting design and manufacturing company focused on creating innovative, high-quality niche market solutions. We specialize in data center lighting, with over 35 million square feet under illumination throughout the United States. We design our own products in-house and work closely with trusted manufacturing partners to bring them to life. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented, self-starting, and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join the Sales & Marketing team. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and is expected to be full-time in our headquarters in San Francisco.

Job Description

Product Marketing Manager

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will own the go-to-market strategy and technical content creation for our LED lighting products. You'll translate product capabilities into clear, compelling stories for architects, engineers, contractors, facility teams, and channel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product positioning, technical messaging, and value propositions across our product lines.
  • Build and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and product updates.
  • Create high-quality marketing content end-to-end, including:

Product one-pagers, brochures, spec-friendly sell sheets

Case studies, application notes, and project spotlights

Website and landing page content

Sales enablement decks and training materials

Trade show/event collateral and follow-up campaigns

Social content (especially LinkedIn) and light paid-ad creative

  • Partner with Sales to build enablement tools (battlecards, objection handling, email templates) and improve win rates.
  • Collaborate with Engineering/R&D to understand technical specs and translate them into customer benefits.
  • Use HubSpot to support campaign execution and performance tracking (e.g., lists, email, landing pages, workflows, reporting) in partnership with Sales.
  • Work with channel partners and controls/ceiling grid/PoE ecosystem partners to co-market where relevant.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all assets.
  • Gather market and competitive insights (lighting trends, controls, sustainability requirements) to inform messaging and launches.
  • Track performance of launches and content (lead flow, engagement, sales feedback) and iterate.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in product marketing, marketing communications, or a related B2B marketing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to create content independently (writing + design).
  • Strong graphic design capability (layout, typography, visual hierarchy) and comfort producing print-ready and digital assets.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills; able to simplify technical information.
  • Canva experience (must-have): ability to create polished, on-brand collateral and social assets independently.
  • HubSpot experience (must-have): comfort building and managing campaigns and reporting in HubSpot.
  • Experience working closely with Sales and technical teams.
  • Organized project manager who can juggle multiple launches and asset requests.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Professional, reliable, and dedicated work ethic.

Nice to have

  • Experience in lighting or lighting controls extremely preferable.
  • Related technical B2B industries, such as electrical and building products also will be considered.
  • Familiarity with common lighting stakeholders and spec process (architects, engineers, contractors, facility managers).
  • Experience marketing sustainability features (recyclability, certifications, warranty, end-of-life programs).
  • Basic understanding of lighting concepts (CCT, CRI, optics, drivers, controls, PoE) or willingness to learn quickly.

  • Learn our product lines, differentiators, and target buyer personas.
  • Refresh or create a core set of product marketing assets for priority products.
  • Deliver a clear messaging framework and a repeatable launch checklist.
  • Establish a cadence with Sales for feedback and enablement needs.

Travel

  • Occasional travel for trade shows, customer visits, and partner meetings.
