ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESOffice Stewardship: Maintain a professional, welcoming environment for visitors and handle general administrative tasks (mail, supplies, light vendor management) that arise in a fast-paced combined office/lab setting.Executive Support: Support management of CEO (and other executive) calendars and handle expense reporting for the executive leadership team with precision and discretion.Culture & Connection: Coordinate staff activities, off-sites, and team-building events. Youll also manage the "fuel" for the teamhandling food orders and keeping the kitchen stocked.HR & Compliance: Partner with our external HR Consultant to ensure we stay compliant with labor laws, assist with onboarding new hires, and maintain organized personnel records.Facilities Serve as the primary point of contact for the property manager and landlord. Youll ensure our facilities (both office and lab-adjacent areas) are running smoothly and safety protocols are respected.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:The "Swiss Army Knife" Mentality: You are comfortable wearing many hats and arent afraid to roll up your sleeves to solve a problem.Experience: Administrative or office management experience, preferably in a startup or biotech/lab environment.Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets) and MS Office (Outlook, Teams).Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You can negotiate with a vendor one minute and draft a company-wide memo the next.Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive HR and executive information with the utmost confidentiality.
