Our client, a Hayward printing firm is seeking print production typesetters/InDesign contractors for an election ballot project. The team is awesome, supportive, and great to work with!

This is a contract that will begin immediately and will go for 1-2 months.

*It is 100% on-site (no remote). There is ample parking available.

The project is creating proofs using the imposition software and creating plates for the presses. Required skills:

• PC experience (this shop mostly uses PCs)
• Very strong InDesign skills (such as paragraph/character styles, master pages, text threading, etc.)
• Typesetting and typography skills using modern software (kerning, leading, letterspacing, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail
• Desire and the ability to work overtime

The pay rate is $35.00/hour it's a 37.5 hour work week with the opportunity for significant overtime at the following rates:

• Any hours over 7.5 in one day are paid at time and a half up to 10 hours.
• Any hours over 10 in one day are double time
• Any hours worked on a Saturday are time and a half up to 10 hours.
• Any hours over 10 on a Saturday are double time.
• Any hours worked on a Sunday are double time.
