NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in our Walnut Creek, CA office.
The Senior Marketing Analyst will be responsible for tracking and interpreting program analysis and reporting of campaigns and marketing efforts across our channels. This role will work hand in hand with the product management, product marketing, and other teams to provide a comprehensive view of campaign analytics across all lines of business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Marketing Reporting & Analysis:
Create actionable, data-driven recommendations that impact business decisions using internal and external data & models.
Leverage technical expertise to identify opportunities for targeting, revenue opportunities and operational efficiencies.
Run deep dive and ad-hoc analyses for product owners on as-needed basis
Work closely with product and IT to collaborate on the data quality and pipelines to be able to build automated marketing dashboards and reports
Highly proficient in data science and data automation tools like Big Query, Tableau, R, Python, SQL.
Insights & Solutions:
Provides recommendations and solutions for campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
Provides meaningful insights that enable tangible improvements and inform strategic decisions.
Mentoring & Leadership:
Provide technical training & guidance to junior analysts.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the Marketing Intelligence team.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Intellectually curious, highly collaborative, and has a bias toward action.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex data, from multiple sources, into actionable insights.
Technical knowledge of databases, data warehousing, and data tools are desirable. Experience with BigQuery/SQL preferred.
Intermediate skills in Tableau, GA4, and/or Looker required.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Detail-oriented mindset, focused on driving results and analyzing data to gain insights and opportunities for growth.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
8+ years experience in a marketing analytics focused role
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or other relevant field
