Job Summary

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing order fulfillment and supply chain systems to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely product flow from order entry through final delivery. This role drives process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement across order management and logistics operations, while managing third-party warehouse relationships and leading strategic supply chain initiatives. The position plays a critical role in enhancing service levels, reducing costs, and improving overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead team performance by driving accountability, continuous improvement, coaching, and alignment with business objectives
  • Partner cross-functionally to enhance execution, service delivery, and operational efficiency
  • Optimize order management processes (entry, allocation, invoicing) through automation and improved exception handling
  • Enhance customer service through proactive order management and streamlined workflows
  • Manage 3PL warehouse relationships, ensuring inventory accuracy through audits, reconciliations, and stock control
  • Oversee inventory strategy, including stock transfers, consolidation, and overall optimization
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs (OTIF, service levels, inventory, costs), identify gaps, and drive corrective actions
  • Improve fulfillment efficiency and inventory flow through continuous process optimization
  • Investigate and resolve deductions, chargebacks, and penalties, implementing root cause solutions
  • Provide regular reporting, insights, and recommendations to leadership
  • Lead supply chain initiatives, including system integrations, process improvements, and warehouse implementations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance ERP/EDI functionality and ensure system accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards, including audit support and documentation
  • Manage carrier and logistics partner relationships, including contracts, pricing, and service agreements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing 3PL providers and warehouse operations
  • Strong background in order management, inventory control, and process optimization
  • Experience with ERP systems and EDI integrations
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
  • Experience in food, beverage, or CPG environments
  • Familiarity with quality and food safety standards (e.g., SQF)
  • Experience leading system implementations or large-scale supply chain projects

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $140,000 - $160,000 (based on experience)
  • Annual bonus (based on company performance)
