An opportunity is available for an experienced Radiology Technologist with CT imaging skills to fill a travel assignment in Redwood City, CA. This role requires a professional with 2+ years of experience, current BLS certification, and ARRT certification in CT (R) and Fluoroscopy. The position offers a dynamic radiology environment serving inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR patients, using Siemens 64 and 128 slice CT scanners and Phillips ultrasound equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging and general radiology procedures, including fluoroscopy in the OR and routine exams.
• Collaborate with radiologists and the radiology management team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Utilize electronic medical records (Cerner) to document procedures.
• Provide versatile radiology support including ultrasound and mammography if cross-trained.
• Maintain compliance with state certifications and continuing education.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active BLS certification.
• ARRT certification in CT Imaging (R) and Fluoroscopy.
• State of California certification for Radiologic Technologists.
• Minimum of 2 years radiology experience; OR experience highly desirable.
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred to enhance scheduling opportunities.
• Mammography certification and tomography training are a plus.
• Venipuncture skills considered beneficial but not required.
• Experience with Siemens CT and Phillips ultrasound equipment is advantageous.

Schedule and Work Environment:

• Primarily 8-hour shifts.
• Weekend work required with varying shifts based on CT proficiency.
• Participation in call rotation for holidays and possible weekend standby.
• Hospital provides scrubs.
• Orientation tailored to previous experience with varied lengths depending on skill set.
