Position Overview:
Performs 12 lead EKGs on adults and neonates and processes appropriate paperwork to complete test. Appliesand removes 24-hour Holters. Schedules all aspects of testing when appropriate. Performs transcription and billing as necessary. Responds to codes and performs SAECG.

EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
Associate's: College coursework in health sciences desirable.
Other: Prefer demonstrated formal education program in EKG.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
EKG-Technician
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrated knowledge of EKG procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of billing procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of typewriter/computer.
Types at least 40 wpm on electric typewriter or computer keyboard.
Knowledge of relevant clinical terminology.
Work effectively and positively with other employees.
Communicates effectively and clearly with patients and staff.

Pay Range is $36.56 to $43.23 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
