Hospital Manager Opportunity
El Cerrito Veterinary Care is seeking a motivated and compassionate hospital manager to help lead our dedicated team and support the continued growth of our practice. About the Hospital El Cerrito Veterinary Care is a modern, full-service hospital serving pets and families throughout the East Bay, including El Cerrito, Berkeley, Oakland, and surrounding communities. We are proud to deliver high-quality medical, dental, surgical, and diagnostic care in a collaborative, supportive environment where both our patients and our team members thrive.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, MondayFriday, with weekends as needed. Compensation: $28$35 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to hospital team members
- Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable team culture
- Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure smooth hospital operations and alignment on hospital goals and priorities
- Build and maintain a strong, collaborative working relationship with the Chief of Staff and medical team to support clinical excellence and team success
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management
- Support inventory management, hospital operations, and administrative processes
- Help create an efficient, organized, and welcoming environment for clients, patients, and team members
What We're Looking For:
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
- A team-oriented professional who is passionate about veterinary medicine and interested in growing their leadership skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build relationships, motivate team members, and lead by example
- Experience in customer service, operations, healthcare, hospitality, or team leadership roles is a plus
