Twinflame is a new Korean-Japanese robata restaurant opening in Oakland, centered around robata style cooking over authentic binchotan charcoal. Our food is focused, intentional, and built around a kitchen that values discipline, process, and execution.

We are looking for a strong line cook who can work clean, move with urgency, and take real ownership of their station. This is a good role for someone who wants to be part of an ambitious opening and help build standards from the ground up. Depending on the candidate's skills and interest we may be able to offer a variety of opportunities in the kitchen.

What you'll do:

- Execute prep and service with consistency, speed, and attention to detail

- Set up, stock, and maintain your station before, during, and after service

- Follow recipes, plating standards, portioning, and chef direction precisely

- Work cleanly and stay organized in a fast-paced service environment

- Communicate clearly with the team during prep and service

- Help maintain food safety, sanitation, and overall kitchen cleanliness

- Support receiving, storage, labeling, rotation, and general kitchen organization

- Contribute to a strong team culture built on accountability and professionalism

What we re looking for:

Line cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen

Strong work ethic

Reliable, punctual, and able to stay focused under pressure

Good knife skills and solid basic cooking technique

Able to take feedback well and execute at a high level

Interest in live-fire, robata, and detail-driven cooking is a plus

Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
