Warehouse Worker

HF Foods Group, Inc., headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a leading distributor of international foodservice solutions to Asian restaurants and other businesses across the United States. With 15 distribution centers strategically located throughout the nation, HF Foods Group aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• The warehouse worker will load and unload outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles.
• You will select products from the warehouse, load, and secure goods to pallets, move inventory to the delivery area, and load merchandise.
• You will unload stock from delivery vehicles and transport it to and store in designated warehouse positions.
• You will always keep the work environment clean and tidy, and comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
• Completes deliveries by driving a truck or van to and from vendors.
• Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.
• Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
• Provides quality service by following organization standards.
• Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat.
• Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Completes reports by entering the required information.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to meet loading/unloading standards set by the company.
• Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers.
• General knowledge of tools and material handling equipment.
• Ability to pass a drug test & background check.
• Be able to operate forklift and power lift.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to repetitively reach, stoop, bend, and lift, up to and including 80 lbs.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of warehouse working experience.

Salary Range: $16.90 - $40.00
