Inventory Control Manager

Position Details:
This In-Office at our client's facility in Burlingame, CA
The hiring range for this role is typically between $90,000 and $115,000 annually, with the full range extending to $141,000 annually, based on experience, internal equity, and career progression
Primary Function:
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for managing the inventory for all incoming and outgoing products and supplies. In addition, the Inventory Manager will create and implement inventory management processes to maximize efficiencies. This role oversees the Shipping, Receiving, and Material Handling functions.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
Conduct inventory transfers and execute inventory adjustments
Develop and document processes and strategies to meet company goals
Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory
Use ERP and other resources to monitor demand and to forecast potential inventory issues
Prepare reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
Implement and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Schedule and perform cycle counts
Track and report on non-conforming, damaged, or obsolete parts/products
Manage the performance and development of your team, including performance reviews
Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory life cycle
Optimize and continuously improve delivery, quality, and cost
Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferred
Strong ERP background, ideally NetSuite experience
Experience with ISO9001 and AS9100
Knowledge of supply chain life cycle (including accounting impacts and cost centers)
Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and federal/global shipping regulations
Self-starter mindset and the ability to create and implement processes
Experience working with bills of materials (BOMs)
Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group
Demonstrate commitment and adherence to Sigma Design Core Values

Work Environment
Standard warehouse/production environment which requires regular sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and moving about the facility. Must be able to stand and work as long as 12 hours in different positions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures.
