Position Overview

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing end-to-end assembly and testing operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role leads a team of technicians and team leads, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Planning, Engineering, and Inventory to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align production capacity with demand forecasts to meet output goals and key performance indicators
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of assembly technicians and leads (up to 40+ employees)
  • Ensure adherence to established processes, including standard operating procedures, quality standards, and testing protocols
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning
  • Monitor production performance and proactively address issues impacting efficiency or quality
  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, scalability, and operational excellence

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role, ideally within a high-tech or electromechanical environment
  • Familiarity with assembly processes and testing procedures for complex products
  • Experience using systems for production tracking, inventory management, and communication (ERP/MRP tools, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to implement scalable solutions and drive operational improvements
