About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Director or Vice President of Manufacturing to spearhead end-to-end operations, scale-up, and sustaining engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all manufacturing operations, including production, optimization, and driving operational excellence. This pivotal role involves overseeing a large production organization, partnering closely with R&D, and ensuring manufacturability, process excellence, and operational strategy are at the forefront. Key responsibilities also include managing supplier and vendor relationships, budgeting, capacity planning, and leading a team of ~40-50 employees.

Applicants must have 8-15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership within regulated environments, with a specific requirement for medical device manufacturing experience involving complex, multi-component devices. The role demands a leader with a strong engineering foundation, capable of influencing engineering design for manufacturability, and a proven track record in NPI, scale-up, sustaining engineering, and design transfer. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in fast-paced, hands-on environments, and possess experience with manufacturing systems, operational tools, and ERP platforms, with a preference for NetSuite. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or manufacturing is required, with a mechanical engineering degree strongly preferred, and an advanced degree is also desirable.
