As the Digital & Social Media Marketing Associate, you will play a critical role in executing the day-to-day digital marketing initiatives that expand Aurora's online presence and audience engagement. You will support the Digital & Social Media Marketing Lead by creating content, posting, monitoring, and engaging audiences across organic and paid channels.

The ideal candidate is fluent across all digital and social media mediums. They are a proactive self-starter, who is detail-oriented, and dependable.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Digital Campaign Operations: Support the Digital & Social Media Marketing Lead to build and deploy digital content, copy, and campaigns. Distribute AI meeting notes and action items. Own trafficking of assets from creative teams to media agencies, media partners, and social platforms through shared project management tools. Ensure production statuses are up to date in project management tools.
  • Website: Make content, asset, and copy updates to aurora.tech on a regular basis. Implement updates to content to improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). Publish blog content.
  • Digital AI Tools: Leverage and/or build AI tools that scale our digital marketing efforts in areas like social listening, community engagement, and copy/content development. Utilize AI tools to assist in resizing assets, generating initial copy variations for A/B testing, and summarizing social sentiment reports.

Social Media

  • Social Platform Posting: Schedule and deploy posts across platforms including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Content Development: Extend brand and product storytelling through social-first asset creation. Draft supporting social copy. Contribute to a robust social media pipeline and editorial calendar.
  • Community & Monitoring: Leverage tools to monitor engagement across social media in real time. Build and nurture a community of advocates on social media. Flag issues and recommend responses and copy. Identify trends and themes across comments that may inspire new forms of social content. Monitor social media inboxes and triage outreach to appropriate parties on other teams (including recruiting, government, affairs, and business development).
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to recommend test-and-learn social content

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing within an agency or brand.
  • Proficient in business communication tools like Slack and Google Suite.
  • Experience in social media-specific content creation and management across platforms including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, as well as website CMS.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag manager, and Sprout Social.
  • Natural curiosity and interest in learning about new technology and marketing approaches.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively manage change, ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel and work across time zones as needed.

Nice to Have/Industry Knowledge:

  • Passion to learn, or familiarity with, the autonomous technology, logistics, or freight industry.
  • Design: Basic knowledge of design tools and/or the ability to visually communicate new concepts and basic mockups through AI tools.

Pay range is $25-$35 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
