Sr. Design Program Manager

We are seeking a Sr. Design Program Manager to optimize our design processes and workflows, enabling efficient and scalable product development on our Merchant XD team. No two days are alike here and your responsibilities will range from operational execution to building for the future by implementing strategic improvements.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Scope: The project & program responsibilities are focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system from design to release for customers.
• Plan and manage a portfolio of engineering operational programs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to program teams.
• Establish and maintain program management processes and standards.
• Monitor program progress and performance against objectives.
• Communicate program status and issues to senior leadership.
• Manage program budgets and resources.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Expected Qualifications:

• 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with program management methodologies and tools within an engineering environment.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in design, business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in design operations, design program management, or a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
• Expert in user-centered methodologies.
• Proactive approach to work, comfortable in ambiguity with an ability to get work organized and completed.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvement.
• Experience with design tools and software (e.g., Asana, Figma).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business administration or related field.
• Experience in the fintech industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
