Job Title: Administrative Coordinator
Location: Burlingame, CA
Schedule: Hybrid | 9:00 AM-5:30 PM (Tues/Th onsite) | May-September (potential extension to 12/31) | ASAP start

Requirements:

2+ years of administrative support experience in a healthcare setting
Experience with Epic EMR system
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with chart review and data extraction from medical records
Ability to conduct outbound calls to patients and external facilities
Experience with appointment coordination and patient communication
Ability to manage hybrid work schedule and prioritize tasks independently
Preferred Requirements:

Experience supporting clinical or care coordination teams
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
Experience with data collection and reporting workflows
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
Experience covering temporary assignments or contract roles

Summary / Duties:
This Administrative Coordinator will support a healthcare team by performing chart research, patient outreach, and data collection activities. The role involves reviewing medical records in Epic, calling patients to remind them of upcoming appointments, and contacting external facilities to gather required information. The coordinator will ensure accurate documentation and timely communication across stakeholders while maintaining HIPAA compliance. This is a hybrid position with onsite work in Burlingame on Tuesdays and Thursdays and remote work on other days. The assignment is to provide coverage during a maternity leave starting in May, with an ASAP start and potential extension through the end of the year.
