Material Handler Distribution / Shipping

Location: Richmond, CA

Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20 $21/hour

Duration: W2 Assignment (Project for increased production: up to 2-3 months)

Overview :

The Distribution Material Handler supports shipping and fulfillment operations by picking, packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment. This role ensures products are accurately processed and shipped to meet daily distribution goals.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Pick and pack products for shipment according to order requirements
• Label and prepare boxes for carrier pickup
• Sort packages and prepare freight for shipping
• Palletize products and secure loads using wrapping and strapping equipment
• Inspect products and packaging for defects or damage
• Support carrier package sorting and shipping lane operations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Help meet daily shipping and distribution objectives

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic warehouse or distribution experience preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or RF scanners is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shipping environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
