We are seeking a CMO to be the architect of our growth logic, not the head of campaigns. This is a rare opportunity to define a new category and build a growth system from the ground up, working directly with founders who think in systems and are building for decade-long relevance.

Location: Bay Area or Las Vegas (On-site/Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire growth architecture, designing parent-child referral loops, family-to-family propagation, and emotional hooks that drive retention before acquisition.
  • Define Toggee's narrative and cultural positioning—shaping the language parents use to explain us to other parents and establishing our philosophy around responsibility and childhood development.
  • Engineer go-to-market mechanisms that work before paid marketing, including product-embedded virality, social proof loops, and strategic partnerships.
  • Translate complex growth dynamics into clear frameworks and mental models for the CEO and leadership team.
  • Design a small, elite marketing function that integrates tightly with Product, Design, and Data—deciding what not to hire for as much as what to build.

Requirements

  • Senior marketing or growth leadership at a family-oriented consumer product, EdTech platform, or behavioral/habit-forming consumer system.
  • Proven experience scaling a product from ~1 to ~10—moving from early traction to significant, repeatable growth.
  • Strong product intuition; you think with PMs, not after them, and build growth into the product experience itself.
  • Systems thinker who remains calm under ambiguity, is opinionated yet intellectually honest, and can say "this won't work" early.
  • Bay Area or Las Vegas only (on-site/hybrid, non-negotiable). NOT a media-buy-centric or performance marketing background.
