This is a hybrid, contract role for a Social Media Content Creator based in the San Francisco Bay Area with the opportunity to work remotely for part of the time. The Social Media Content Creator will develop and execute engaging content strategies for social media platforms, manage and grow Parlay House's online presence, and actively engage with the community to foster meaningful digital interactions. Additional tasks include scheduling posts, monitoring social media trends, analyzing engagement metrics, and collaborating with team members to align content with the organization's mission.

• Expertise in Social Media Management, Content Creation, and implementing effective Content Strategies.
• Proficiency in Copywriting, Creative Writing, and writing for diverse audiences in a gender-inclusive tone.
• Graphic Design and Video Editing skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Experience with Social Media Analytics, measuring performance metrics, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently in a remote setting.
• Background in community building or experience cultivating engagement in online or in-person communities.
• Understanding of online trends, platform-specific best practices, and a commitment to fostering inclusivity.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
