Application Analyst – Epic Resolute (Professional Billing, Claims & Remittance)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst with expertise in Epic Resolute Professional Billing, Claims, and Remittance to support implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic applications. This role focuses on revenue cycle operations, billing workflows, and claims processing, ensuring accurate financial transactions and system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Epic Resolute Implementation & Configuration

• Lead implementation, upgrades, and configuration of Epic Resolute modules
• Design and optimize billing workflows for accuracy and efficiency
• Configure and validate system settings aligned with business needs

Claims & Remittance Management

• Manage end-to-end claims and remittance processes
• Analyze and resolve claim errors, denials, and payment discrepancies
• Ensure accurate setup and testing of electronic and paper claims

Integration & Data Flow

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Epic with external systems (payers, clearinghouses)
• Troubleshoot upstream/downstream data issues impacting claims

User Support & Training

• Act as primary support for end users
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions
• Develop and deliver user training and documentation

Continuous Improvement

• Identify system enhancements to improve revenue cycle efficiency
• Optimize workflows to reduce denials and improve reimbursement

Additional Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between business users and technical teams
• Lead workflow design, system build, testing, and issue resolution
• Participate in project meetings, status updates, and go-live support
• Monitor system performance and provide regular reporting to leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years of experience as an Application Analyst (Epic environment)
• Epic Resolute Certification (Required)
• Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
• Experience with claims processing, remittance, and billing operations
• Knowledge of data flow across Epic impacting claims generation
