Confidential Contract Opportunity – Spanish-speaking Dental Assistant (DA/RDA)

Location: Redwood City, CA

Duration: Mid-April through Mid-August (FMLA Leave Coverage)

Schedule: 40 hours/week | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Compensation: $30–$32/hour

Benefits: We offer access to Medical. Dental and Vision Insurance after 30 days.

A respected nonprofit healthcare organization in the Bay Area is seeking a Spanish-speaking Dental Assistant (DA or RDA) to provide coverage during a leave of absence. This role supports a mission-driven dental clinic focused on delivering high-quality care to underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support patient flow, including scheduling, intake, and discharge
• Prepare treatment rooms and dental trays for procedures
• Take, develop, and mount dental x-rays
• Assist dentists chairside using four-handed dentistry techniques
• Provide clear post-operative instructions to patients in Spanish and English
• Maintain sterilization of instruments and operatories in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory control
• Support basic administrative and clerical tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Active California Dental X-Ray License is preferred
• Open to both Registered Dental Assistants (RDA) and experienced Dental Assistants
• Experience with four-handed dentistry and general dental procedures
• Fluency in Spanish and English (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with diverse and underserved populations
• Alignment with a mission-driven, community health environment
