The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of an early stage AI startup for a Founding Engineer.

You will partner directly with the CEO and founding team to build an AI native operating system for modern leadership teams. You will design core systems, ship customer facing features, and solve real problems for high stakes environments.

You will work across backend, frontend, AI systems, infrastructure, and security. You will shape both the product direction and the technical foundation from day one.

Compensation

• Title: Founding Engineer

• Salary: 150,000 to 180,000 USD per year

• Equity: Meaningful early stage ownership

What You Will Do

First few weeks

• Ship core AI driven workflows used daily by executive teams

• Build data ingestion and structuring pipelines to create actionable context

• Engage directly with customers to understand their workflows and embed the product into daily operations

First few months

• Help define core architecture and AI workflows for reasoning and decision support

• Expand personalization and intelligence across briefings, tasks, and relationship management

• Prototype and iterate on features such as voice to text and AI generated recommendations

What You Bring

• 4 or more years of experience shipping full stack, production grade products

• Experience in early stage startups building products from zero to one

• Strong experience with Python, TypeScript, and React

• Hands on experience building AI native features such as LLM powered systems, agents, retrieval augmented generation, and embeddings

• Fluency using AI tools across the development lifecycle, including prototyping, coding, and testing

• Strong product instincts and customer focus

• Bonus experience in government or regulated industries

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance
