Position Summary
The Director of Development and Strategic Growth is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding CTE's market presence through strategic business development, fundraising, and sales initiatives. This position oversees CTE's grant application strategy, private fundraising and foundation partnerships, and internal business development programs.
The Director of Development and Strategic Growth is accountable for identifying and securing new funding opportunities, strengthening client and member relationships, and building internal capabilities to support sustainable revenue growth. This role plays a critical part in positioning CTE for long-term success as a member of the Strategic Team.
The Director of Development and Strategic Growth will also manage and evolve CTE's Market Lead Program, which is designed to develop target markets, generate new revenue streams, and strengthen CTE's understanding of customers, suppliers, technologies, and funding opportunities across key sectors. The role also leads the development of internal sales training programs and provides structured opportunities for staff to contribute to business development efforts.
This position requires a highly strategic, focused leader who is comfortable engaging with clients, partners, and funders, while also building internal systems and programs that scale CTE's business development capabilities.
