Brakes Repair Technician - Union City, CA

Great opportunity to work at a Union City, CA for an international manufacturing firm!

Position requires mechanical experience ideally with autos, trucks, or heavy industrial equipment as well as common sense, a willing attitude and good work ethic.

Duties:

· Disassemble equipment and clean as needed.

· Perform basic initial evaluation and inspection of equipment as assigned.

· Document evaluation finding and generate a Technician Evaluation Report.

· Routing of wires and installing crimp terminations and/or connectors as instructed by Sr. Personnel.

· Assist in testing equipment and recording test results.

· Perform component level testing as required.

· Interpret readings on gages, indicators, and dials.

· Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment as instructed.

· Provide support and assistance to other technicians and team members, as directed, and any other duties as assigned by the Cell Leader or Sr. Personnel.

· Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with the company's rules and policies.

Qualifications:

· Must be able to use tools such as multi-meters, torque wrenches, etc.

· Read mechanical drawings.

· Experience with MS Office required.

Jobsite Location: Union City, CA

Work Hours: 4/10 Work Week Schedule (Monday – Thursday from 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

*Mandatory Overtime may be required every other Friday

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $25.62 per hour
