Chief of Staff to CEO & CTO — Frontier AI Lab

Location: San Francisco

Compensation: Up to $250,000 base plus Bonus & Equity

This is a genuine Chief of Staff role — acting as the right hand and representative to the CEO and CTO. You will engage across strategy, product, research, fundraising, and operations to help grow the business at a vital stage of expansion. This is a high-impact, high-responsibility position for someone who flourishes in ambiguity and wishes to operate at the heart of a fast-expanding AI company.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the CEO and CTO on strategy, prioritisation, and execution
• Act as a proxy in meetings, decision-making, and follow-ups
• Drive cross-functional initiatives across research, product, and business teams
• Support fundraising efforts, including investor materials, narratives, and board decks
• Identify bottlenecks, surface risks, and ensure alignment across the organisation
• Help establish operating cadence and structure as the company scales

Requirements

• Experience in a high-growth startup (Series A–C), top-tier tech company, or similar environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; comfortable operating in ambiguity
• Exposure to fundraising, metrics, and company-level decision-making
• Ability to work effectively with technical and research teams
• Founder mindset — proactive, opinionated, and execution-focused
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Background in AI, deep tech, product, or venture
• Previous experience supporting senior executives or founders
• Experience preparing board materials and investor communications
