Executive Assistant to Co-Founders

Description:

A leading private equity firm in San Francisco is seeking an experienced, high-caliber Executive Assistant to provide direct 1:1 support to its Co-Founders. These roles are critical partners to the principals, operating as the backbone of day-to-day execution while enabling the executives to focus on strategic priorities.

This is a fully in-office role requiring a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and is accustomed to supporting senior-level executives at the founder, managing partner, or C-suite level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide seamless, high-touch 1:1 support to a Co-Founder, managing all day-to-day administrative and operational needs
  • Own complex, ever-changing calendars, balancing competing priorities and acting as a strategic gatekeeper
  • Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel, including multi-leg itineraries, last-minute adjustments, and detailed travel planning
  • Serve as a trusted partner and extension of the executive, maintaining alignment on priorities and ensuring efficient daily execution
  • Act as a central source of information, particularly during off-hours and weekends, ensuring continuity and responsiveness as needed
  • Support ad hoc personal and professional tasks, with a mindset of improving structure and organization over historically ad hoc processes
  • Maintain the highest level of discretion, professionalism, and white-glove service at all time.
  • This role operates in a high-performance, always-on environment with reasonable expectations for off-hours accessibility
  • Personal Assistant support mostly when principals are traveling

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting C-level executives, founders, or managing partners
  • Prior experience in private equity, finance, or venture capital.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars, global travel, and shifting priorities at the highest level
  • Proven track record of operating with discretion, professionalism, and strong executive presence
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with exceptional communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fully in-office environment with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Location: San Francisco, CA (Presidio)

Schedule: M-F Onsite, Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed

Compensation: Up to $160k + OT + Benefits
