Description

We're a funded stealth-stage marketplace startup launching this summer in SF. Mobile app coming in the fall. We're hiring our first business team member.

This isn't a "support the team" ops role. You'll own real outcomes from day one — supply, demand, partnerships, metrics. You'll work directly with the founder on strategy, hiring, and systems.

You're walking in at the exact moment where what you do in the first 90 days determines how fast we grow.

What you'll actually do...

You'll be in the field - closing supply-side partners, refining the pitch based on what you hear, and figuring out what converts. You'll recruit and manage a small team of summer interns doing ground-level execution. You'll own a dashboard of daily metrics and make real-time decisions: kill what's not working, double down on what is. You'll build the processes and playbooks that let this thing scale without being dependent on any one person. You'll test ideas in days and ship in hours.

This is a role where you are expected to execute, measure, adjust, repeat.

Who we're looking for...

1–4 years in startups, ops, sales, or growth at a marketplace or consumer company. You've done the messy early-stage work before - or you're hungry to. You're the person who talks to 30 strangers in a day and doesn't think twice about it. You're competitive and you want to build something that wins.

You've shipped something real. You know the difference between being busy and being effective.

Based in SF or relocating. This is fully on-site.

What success looks like at 90 days

- Supply pipeline built and converting

- Intern team recruited, trained, and executing daily

- Acquisition channels tested with real data

- Strategic partnership conversations in progress

- Operational playbooks documented and running

Compensation

Salary: $85,000 – $110,000

Equity: 0.2% – 0.4%
