How You'll Contribute

• Establish, implement, and uphold Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards throughout Siemens Energy operations in the Middle East.
• Carry out regular site audits and hazard assessments, identifying potential risks and proposing effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and foster a culture of zero incidents.
• Lead and deliver safety awareness initiatives and training programs to boost EHS involvement at project locations.
• Manage incident investigations and near-miss reporting, ensuring thorough documentation and appropriate corrective actions.
• Evaluate and monitor contractor and supplier EHS practices to ensure alignment with Siemens Energy's standards.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• A degree in Engineering or a Health & Safety diploma (minimum 3 years), along with relevant certifications such as NEBOSH and ISO auditing.
• 5+ years of hands-on EHS experience in the oil and gas sector, especially within shutdown or turnaround projects.
• Solid understanding of both regional safety regulations and global standards like OSHA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting safety inductions, risk assessments, and thorough incident analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively deliver EHS messaging across various teams.
• A proactive mindset focused on building a strong safety culture and driving continuous EHS improvement initiatives.
