Century Group is excited to partner with a large General Contractor in San Francisco to help them find a Project Accountant to join their growing team! This unique role will be full time at the project site where you will work with the project team and owner representatives to ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payables, and billings. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $120,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Timely processing of invoices, payables and billings.
  
• Process vendor invoices/subcontract payments and retention requests.
  
• Input and maintain preliminary lien information.
  
• Collect subcontractor, vendor and supplier lien releases.
  
• Prepare and submit deficiency Hold Notices.
  
• Follow up on Accounts Receivables.
  

• 3-5 years construction accounting experience.
  
• Thorough understanding of how to track, pay, manage and work with subcontractors.
  
• Experience with budgets, monthly billings, change orders, contracts, lien waivers, and insurance.
  
• Construction based accounting software experience.
  
• Viewpoint and/or CMIC software experience a plus!
