Marin Humane is looking for a Feline Behavior Associate to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you'll help shelter cats thrive, support adopters and community members with feline behavior questions, and provide guidance that improves the lives of cats across our community.

Position Details:

Schedule: 30 hours/week

Compensation: $22.41 - $24.90/hour DOE

Bonus: Spanish-speaking premium pay: +$0.50/hour

What You'll Do:

• Work directly with cats in our shelter who need extra behavior support

• Provide consultations to community members about cat behavior

• Support adopters with pre-adoption counseling for special feline friends

• Help train and mentor amazing volunteers

• Lead and participate in educational workshops and outreach

• Share your knowledge through articles and presentations

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Experience working with cats in shelters or as a cat behavior consultant

• Familiarity with feline behavior and medical needs (vet tech experience is a plus!)

• Empathy, great communication, and an interest in helping both people and animals

• Strong organizational, writing, and presentation skills

• Comfort with public speaking and coaching volunteers

• Bonus if you're bilingual (Spanish/English)
