Image Orthodontics in San Francisco is in search of an experienced Patient Coordinator to join our team. The Patient Coordinator plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our patients, managing appointments, and supporting the clinical team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, highly organized, and able to maintain positivity and composure in a fast-paced office setting.

Schedule

• This position is Full-Time
• Alternative Work Schedule (4/10)

Responsibilities Include

• Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the office.
• Manage patient appointments and maintain the office schedule to ensure efficient operations.
• Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, providing information and scheduling appointments as needed
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing and payment inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized front office area
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient experiences
• Support marketing and promotional efforts to attract and retain patients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a Patient Coordinator, Dental/Medical Receptionist, or in a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and approachable demeanor
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated resilience, dependability, and adaptability in a fast-paced office setting.
• Proven ability to exercise critical thinking and problem solving in daily tasks.
• Experience with dental/orthodontic software systems preferred
• Experience in a dental or orthodontics practice is a plus
