Our client is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Controller / Senior Accountant with non-profit industry experience to join their team on a temporary basis. will support the Controller with various financial projects. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $45 to $60 per hour.

Job Description:

• Review and analyze foundation and corporate grants for specific terminology and compliance.
  
• Thoroughly examine 75 grants to identify and document specific terminology.
  
• Track and record activities for over 100 individual investments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  

• Proven experience in accounting or finance within the non-profit sector.
  
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
