Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned
- Removing of sharp edges on precision machined metal parts
- Sand and Scotch bright using orbital sanders/die grinders, etc.
- Washing and cleaning parts
- Visual inspection for scratches/dings and defects
- Communicate with supervisors for priorities and cosmetic issues
- Requires individuals to be very detail oriented with a thorough understanding of metal working tools, both mechanical and manual
- Must be able to read and understand part drawings with special attention to surface finish requirements and edge breaks
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification required
- Quick learner
- Team player and work well with others
- Good communication
- Bilingual
- Strong work ethic
- Use of orbital sanders/deburring wheels and scotch bright bits.
- Ability to lift/or move up to 50 pounds
