Job Title: Material Handler Job Description
The Stockroom & Shipping Specialist is responsible for managing the receipt, organization, and distribution of parts and materials within the stockroom. This position ensures timely and accurate fulfillment of internal material requests, oversees outgoing shipments, and maintains proper documentation and inventory control. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring all items are properly labeled and stored.
Pick, pack, and ship materials, equipment, and components for internal and external customers.
Coordinate shipments with carriers and ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of all materials received and issued using the ERP or inventory management system.
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory audits.
Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to support material needs.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics, shipping, and inventory.
Essential Skills
Experience utilizing PLEX ERP system
Ability to lift up to 50lbs-60lbs
Experience with shipping FedEx, UPS, Freight, and international shipping to Canada
Forklift Experience - Stand up (Electric)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in data entry
Experience with warehouse inventory management
Strong organizational and communication skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
