Onsite in Foster City, CA | at least 3 days in office

Introduction

At our company, data is at the core of everything we do. You will work alongside Data Scientists and Product Managers to help harness the power of data to understandand improve our service performance and customer experience. You will be responsible for analyzing vehicle and trip data, building data models, and providing actionable insights for our Product teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Proficiency with Python and Pandas for data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Experience creating and maintaining dashboards with tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
  • Prior work experience in the industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Familiarity with machine learning or predictive analytics techniques.
  • Knowledge of autonomous vehicle operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Data Processing & Cleanliness: Use SQL / Python to clean, process, and manipulate large datasets to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data used in analysis. Transform data into analytics-ready models where needed.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Analyze service performance and customer data, uncover trends, and provide insights to the experience end-to-end. Correlate feedback we receive from riders with our service capabilities to inform the Product roadmap and feature prioritization.
  • Visualization & Insights: Develop clear, concise visualizations and dashboards in Looker and/or Databricks to support decision-making. Ensure that these tools provide actionable insights for Product managers, leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests, performing targeted analyses to help answer key business questions or evaluate the impact of potential changes to our Product.
  • Collaboration with Product and Data Science Teams: Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to establish metrics, data models, and insights; and with Product teams to ensure the work is aligned to Product priorities and maximizes customer impact.
