Node Developer
Location: Hybrid onsite Chicago or Dallas (Local only)
Interview Mode: Final interview onsite
Type: Long term contract

. WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

• Working in collaborative environment, design, architect and develop software on the assigned tasks for front-end application within Renaissance Risk UI projects.
• Follow technical direction and work with UX & Business teams to build fit for purpose solutions meeting all quality standards (including 85% unit test coverage)
• pply expert knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.JS while independently developing the Notifications application
• Participate in code reviews, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues and defects
• Collaborate with other teams to develop integrated solutions around sourcing disparate data using REST services
• Follows agreed upon SDLC procedures to ensure that all information system products and services meets both explicit and implicit quality standards, end-user functional requirements, architectural standards, performance requirements, audit requirements, security requirements, and external facing reporting requirements
• Provide SDLC support for developed software in test, QA and Production environments

• Expert knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, PostgresSQL, SQL and Webpack
• Preferred knowledge of Docker, Nest.js, TypeORM, Kafka, Java, Gradle, React
• bility to write clean, modular code that is easy to understand and easily maintainable
• Experience following Git workflows
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools. Eg Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm and CI/CD pipelines etc
