Location: Fremont, CA Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM 2:30 PM) We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician for our first shift to perform precision mechanical inspections on manufactured components. This role requires hand on experience in CMM operation, manual inspection techniques ("hard checks"), and a deep knowledge of GD&T for inspecting sheet metal, laser cut, and welded parts. Key Responsibilities Conduct first article, incoming, in-process, and final inspections on machined parts, sheet metal, and welded assemblies. Perform precise dimensional inspections (hard check) using manual tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) and CM - Ms. Interpret complex engineering drawings, applying expert knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y 14.5). Good hand-on experience to operate CM - Ms (Zeiss or Brown & Sharpe or Mitutoyo) to verify parts against specifications.
