Join CEB as an Inventory & Product Specialist and help keep California's most trusted legal resources accurate, accessible, and running smoothly. In this detail-driven role, you'll support print product data, inventory, and cross-system alignment that ensures legal professionals get the information they rely on. A hybrid role support in Northern California supporting inventory at an Oakland-based warehouse.

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications
  • Print/Publishing Industry Experience supporting print/publishing operations, coordinating with production, warehousing, fulfillment, finance, customer service and sales teams (Required)
  • Interdependent Software Experience with inventory, print design, point-of-sale (POS), project management and customer relationship management (CRM) and business operation software platforms (Required)
  • Software Platforms Experience with NetSuite, Acrobat, Shopify, Smartsheet, Staxbill and Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel) (Preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of legal print publishing processes including tracking, updating, and creating projects for bound books, looseleaf full consolidated gut, looseleaf updates, and errata; including evaluation criteria, performance monitoring, and process improvement (Required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to internal and external teams. (Required)
  • Customer service-oriented mindset, demonstrating a proactive and solution-driven approach to addressing challenges and ensuring client satisfaction. (Required)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex data across multiple systems. (Required)
  • Ability to analyze inventory, sales, and return data/reports to support operational decisions (Required)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. (Required)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to change, serving as a key partner in change management and operational efficiency initiatives. (Required)
  • Ability to utilize analytical judgment (print run analysis, reconciliation) especially related to inventory, pricing, print run analysis and accountability (Required)
  • A collaborative working style able to proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders (Required)
  • Ability to work in-person in Oakland Warehouse Supervisor in Northern CA (Required)
Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related area and / or equivalent experience / training (Required)
Special Conditions for Employment
