The Position:

A Scale Operator is the first point of contact for customers at our recycling facility. The Scale Operator develops and maintains positive customer relations and ensures that the facility is in compliance with load regulations under our permit. This is a very fast paced work environment that involves standing a majority of the shift. Position requires candidates to be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking must take initiative, problem solve, and be a team player in a busy recycling facility.

Must Have:

• Strong attention to detail to prevent data entry errors, or to catch and correct them.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced recycling facility.
• At least 18 years of age and able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Essential Job Functions:

• Accurately identify and inspect material loads coming into the facility.
• Record weights accurately and issue weighmaster certificates.
• Use computer software programs throughout the day, to issue customer tickets and record weights.
• Act as the cashier and accurately process and handle monetary transactions.
• Properly record all required daily logs and inspections for facility compliance.
• Demonstrate Bee Green's stated mission and core values to customers & coworkers.

$20 - $23 an hour
