Driver Courier

Prior experience in clerical, filing, records management, or administrative support roles

Experience supporting government operations or high-volume documentation environments

Responsibilities:

Drive government trucks, vans, and similar vehicles to deliver messages, documents, packages, and mail to various government entities and business partners.

Transport office personnel and execute errands including postal runs and mail sorting.

Obtain receipts for delivered items and maintain accurate delivery logs.

Ensure all materials are delivered precisely as instructed, following written guidance.

Assist with office file maintenance, scanning, shelving, and auditing when not driving.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions proficiently in English.

Strong organizational skills necessary for logging, tracking, and verifying deliveries.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing, and reaching.

Familiarity with safe driving practices and responsible handling of government vehicles.

Background Investigation: This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trustworthiness.
