Performs work involving the skills of two or more maintenance occupations to keep equipment of an establishment in good repair. Performs preventative, routine and emergency maintenance on all homes/offices, vehicles, and related equipment to ensure safe and sanitary operations in compliance with safety codes and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). Minimum age 16. Must have working knowledge of painting, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning/heating, refrigeration, auto mechanics, yard work techniques, and related tools. Working knowledge of repair procedures for walls, flooring, windows, doors and other hardware. Must be able to lift and/or support 50 pounds. May need to drive within program sites and business office, as well as to various community vendors. Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead for simple home and office repairs and maintenance.
