BlueWave Medicine is a premiere concierge medicine practice providing evidence-informed precision medicine and longevity care. We are seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join our team. We seek someone who thrives in a high-touch environment that emphasizes the importance of team work with physicians, fellow team members and management. Success will be based on interpersonal dynamics as well as the quality of care delivered.

The ideal candidate is organized, and brings a warm, engaging, approach to member problem solving. We seek someone who is personable and committed to delivering an exceptional member experience.

Our office is located in the beautiful Presidio in San Francisco. Our practice is not driven by insurance mandates or patient volume targets, allowing our clinical team to spend meaningful time with members and focus on delivering high-quality, personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and room members
• Obtain vital signs, body composition measurements and EKGs
• Perform blood draws
• Administer injections and vaccinations
• Lab processing and specimen handling
• Generate lab orders and track lab results
• Schedule blood draw appointments (both in-house and mobile)
• Assist clinicians with minor procedures
• Communicate professionally with members via secure portal, email and text
• Navigate EMR and update chart documentation
• Manage onsite medication, vaccine and lab supply inventory
• Generally help maintain a presentable and tidy clinical environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong phlebotomy skills
• Excellent professional bedside manner
• Detail oriented
• Clinical experience in primary care, concierge medicine, longevity or wellness space preferred
• Comfortable using EMR systems and Google Workspace, as well as familiarity with wearables
• Excels at problem solving
• Able to work with autonomy and take ownership of responsibilities
• Effective at team-based communication and collaboration
• Positive attitude and track record of taking initiative
• Excited to learn new technologies that apply to clinical practice

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm
