About oWOW
oWOW is a vertically integrated organization (construction, architecture, manufacturing & development) that accelerates housing abundance by delivering high-quality homes up to 65% below market cost in months, not years. We're currently scaling our operations across California, with a goal of breaking ground on 2,000 units by the end of 2026.
We are the team behind 1510 Webster, the tallest mass-timber tower (19 stories) on the West Coast:
Our next project is scheduled to begin in March, followed by another in May and October.
The Role
As a Project Engineer at oWOW, you are responsible for driving the day-to-day execution of the project by ensuring that information, coordination, and field operations are fully aligned, ensuring that drawings, RFIs, submittals, and field conditions are continuously synchronized so the job moves forward without friction.
You are responsible for making sure the field has accurate, complete, and current information at all times, and that changes are tracked, documented, and implemented without impacting schedule or cost.
You operate at the intersection of design, field execution, and subcontractors, identifying issues early, solving problems quickly, and keeping the project moving.
This role is for someone who wants to learn fast, take ownership, and operate in a high-performance environment.
What You'll Do
Own RFIs, submittals, ASIs, and document control. Ensure all project information is current, coordinated, and distributed without delays.
Work directly with superintendents and subcontractors to ensure the field has everything needed to build, plans, details, layout, and answers.
Identify conflicts across trades early and resolve them before they impact construction. Maintain alignment between drawings, specs, and field conditions.
Track and process changes (RFIs, PCOs, CORs, PCCOs). Ensure all impacts are documented, priced, and incorporated into the project.
Update schedules, perform quantity take-offs, and track labor, materials, and equipment against budget. Maintain visibility into project performance.
Manage logistics for inspections, testing, and compliance to ensure work progresses without delays.
