Pay rate: $23 per hour
Hours: 25 hours per week
Paid BACR holidays
Schedule: Monday through Friday, afternoons until 6 p.m.; Off holidays, summers, and weekends

Minimum Requirements
Must have an (a) Associate Degree or higher, or (b) 48 or more college units, or (c) High School Diploma or GED and pass Instructional Aide exam
Must pass criminal background check
Must provide negative TB clearance
Classroom experience a plus
Available Monday through Friday 25 hours per week, afternoons until 6 pm
Work Hours: Monday- Friday 1pm-6pm
Ability to reliably commute to Richmond
Commitment to social justice and leadership
Passionate about learning and youth development: K-12
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Familiarity with teaching literacy concepts
Preferred:
Has experience in teaching literacy concepts, reading strategies and fluency instruction
Commitment to a full school year, able to practice open, clear and consistent communication, commitment to participate in professional development
Responsibilities:
Support and maintain a safe and emotionally supportive environment
Create, plan, and execute lesson plans that support school day learning
Collaborate with youth to support their learning and development (youth-driven curriculum)
