This role focuses on bridging technical expertise and sales strategy to help organizations adopt advanced cybersecurity solutions. You will work closely with regional sales teams and partners to understand client needs, deliver tailored technical presentations, and support pre-sales activities such as Proofs of Concept (POCs) and RFP responses. The position requires translating complex technical concepts into clear business value, managing client relationships, and evangelizing products in industry events and community forums. Success in this role depends on combining deep technical knowledge with strong communication and consultative skills to drive business growth. You will collaborate across multiple teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements while supporting operational efficiency and long-term partnerships.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with regional sales teams to provide technical solutions for clients and partners.
  • Conduct and coordinate Proofs of Concept (POCs) to demonstrate product value and differentiation.
  • Deliver high-level and detailed technical presentations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Provide technical support for prospects, customers, and partner inquiries.
  • Map technical solutions to business goals to align with client strategies.
  • Represent and evangelize the product at industry events, developer forums, and community gatherings.
  • Create technical content, such as white papers and blog posts, to share expertise and thought leadership.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in SMTP, NGFW, SAML, ADFS, SSL, and Web Proxy technologies.
  • Experience managing responses to RFIs/RFPs and maintaining pre-sales engagement processes in CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Background in IT security or cybersecurity, with familiarity in SaaS environments, VPN, remote access, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Capable of leading POCs in complex enterprise environments and providing consultative guidance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP or equivalent; experience selling to large enterprises, Fortune 1000 companies, or public sector clients.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills to work across sales, product management, and engineering teams.
