Project Manager - Consumer Insights

Description:

We're partnering with a leading global retail organization to find a Consumer Insights Project Manager who can turn data into actionable strategy. This is a high-impact role where you'll drive customer-centric decision-making across multiple brands and business functions.

What You'll Do:

Research & Strategy Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end research initiatives (3–5 projects at a time) from planning through delivery
  • Develop annual research roadmaps aligned to business priorities
  • Translate complex or ambiguous business questions into clear research strategies
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations

Insights & Storytelling

  • Synthesize data into clear, actionable insights that influence business decisions
  • Create compelling reports and presentations focused on the "so what"
  • Leverage multiple data sources (e.g., consumer feedback tools, syndicated data, past research) to connect insights

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with teams across marketing, merchandising, product, and strategy
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering strategic POVs
  • Build strong relationships and proactively identify opportunities to add value

Research Execution

  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research (discussion guides, surveys, etc.)
  • Manage external vendors end-to-end, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence
  • Lead project kickoffs, timelines, and ongoing stakeholder communication

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research, or Strategy/Consulting
  • Proven track record of driving business impact through insights
  • Strong ability to turn data into clear, compelling narratives
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly collaborative with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Naturally curious with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
