Mechanical Design Engineers - Full Lifecyle (All Levels & Multiple Teams)

Salary: $145k - $225k +equity

Location: San Francisco (generous relocation package available)

The Role

• Mechanical Design Engineer

You'll help designlarge integrated electro-mechanical systems from concept through to scaled production and global deployment. Engineers own their hardware end to end, driving designs through the full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Design Engineer
• Design and develop electromechanical and structural assemblies
• Own system level designs using 3D and 2D CAD
• Prototype, test and iterate designs quickly
• Perform FEA, thermal analysis and hand calculations
• Ensure designs are manufacturable, inspectable and scalable
• Work closely with suppliers to optimize design for manufacture (DFM)

Experience and skillset - Design Engineer

• Experience designing electromechanical or structural systems
• Track record delivering complex subassemblies or full systems
• Strong CAD capability managing multi-part assemblies
• Experience with GD&T, FEA, and design for assembly
• Prototyping and hands-on development experience
