Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an Entry-Level Microbiologist to join their team! This position is located in Berkeley, California. We encourage recent graduates to apply - biology, microbiology, etc.

Duties:

• Support daily operations within quality control microbiology laboratories
• Conduct microbiological tests on in-process samples, including growth promotion testing
• Perform testing activities on commercial and clinical samples to support product release
• Ensure all testing activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laboratory environment

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field
• 0+ years of relevant laboratory experience, including laboratory research completed in undergraduate studies
• Proficiency in aseptic technique for microbiological testing
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $60-$65,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
