Dollar General is seeking Sales Associates / Store Clerks to assist with daily store operations, customer service, and stocking merchandise. Sales Associates are responsible for operating the cash register, processing cash and card payments, assisting customers with purchases, stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, unloading deliveries, setting up displays, and maintaining store cleanliness. Employees may also assist with inventory tasks, price checks, and store recovery at the end of the shift. This position typically pays $12 to $16 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, holiday pay, and performance-based raises depending on location and experience.Sales Associates are responsible for providing customer service, handling transactions, stocking shelves, unloading trucks, organizing merchandise, setting up displays, assisting customers with questions, and maintaining store organization and cleanliness. Employees must follow company customer service procedures, cash handling policies, and store operational guidelines.Full-time and part-time employees may be eligible for benefits including health insurance for eligible employees, 401(k), paid time off, employee discount programs, and opportunities for advancement into Lead Sales Associate, Assistant Store Manager, or Store Manager roles.
