Speech Language Pathologist – Travel assignment in Oakland, California. This role supports a Skilled Nursing Facility setting and begins 03/23/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $2,466 to $2,543, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., five days per week. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents' speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication skills.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans; document progress and update goals as needed.
- Provide direct therapy services to residents and monitor response to treatment.
- Evaluate and manage swallowing and feeding safety; coordinate referrals for further assessment when indicated.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, rehabilitation, social work, dietary) to optimize care plans and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in required medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure in California
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification or eligibility
- Experience providing therapy in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric care setting preferred
- Ability to perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
